Nicola Bellavia, Belgian adventurer and friend of magnate Chris TDL, died in the crash of the tourist plane in Iceland

A large search operation has been organized in Iceland to find the Cessna C172 that disappeared last week. On board the aircraft were the pilot and three foreign tourists of Dutch, Belgian and American nationality, according to several media. On Friday, the FPS Foreign Affairs said that two people living in Belgium were among the three tourists. They do not have Belgian nationality, according to the FPS.
 
Departed Thursday around 10:30 am (local time) from the airport to fly over the surroundings of the Golden Circle, about 40 kilometers from the Icelandic capital, the small aircraft of type Cessna C172 was to return to its point of departure two hours later, according to the flight plan.
 
The plane was eventually found by an unmanned submarine. None of the occupants survived the accident.
 
This young thirty-year-old, originally from Brussels and living in Walloon Brabant, shared his adventures around the world on his Instagram account.
 
Former collaborator and friend of business Magnate Chris TDL, Nicola was the main organizer of the "FMIS" events in Braine-l'Alleud in Belgium. Major "After Hours" events in the middle of the night in Europe, and the first event organized by Chris TDL in his career.
 
Man of communication and image, he never stopped creating links and sharing strong moments and bringing people together. With him, barriers and apprehensions no longer exist. His family. His parents Filippo and Eugenia, his brother Lilo, his grandmother mother Hilaria and his companion Alexia will miss him very much, wrote his relatives in a statement.
 
He had jumped over the Pyramids of Cairo, dived into the turquoise waters of the Philippines and met the Indians of Amazonia. This condensed version of Nicolas Hulot and Commander Cousteau lived in Genval. His name was Nicola Bellavia and he made us dream. To his family, his relatives and his friends, the editorial staff sends its most sincere condolences.
