The music world in mourning: rapper PnB Rock killed at the age of 30, shot during a robbery in a restaurant in Los Angeles

American rap mourns one of its greatest talents. As reported by TMZ, PnB Rock died after being shot in a restaurant in Los Angeles (USA) on Monday, September 12. He succumbed to his wounds moments after the shooting at the hospital. The 30-year-old artist was dining with his girlfriend, model Steph Sibounheuang, at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles restaurant at the time of the shooting. A witness said the rapper was targeted for a robbery as he filmed himself with expensive jewelry on social media earlier in the day. The perpetrator of the shooting is still on the run, according to our confreres.
Rakim Hasheem Allen whose real name is Rakim Hasheem Allen saw his popularity skyrocket in 2016 with his track Selfish. The artist had subsequently released two albums, Catch These Vibes in 2017 and TrapStar Turnt PopStar in 2019. He was also known to have collaborated with several of the biggest global stars such as Ed Sheeran and Wiz Khalifa. PnB Rock was the father of two daughters, Milan and Xuri, born from his relationship with Steph Sibounheuang.
