The crowd had gathered on the Champs-Élysées to see the traditional fireworks for New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, they forgot one detail when they filmed the transition to 2022.
Smartphones were drawn and the video application opened to capture the magnificent illuminations of the traditional New Year's fireworks on the most beautiful avenue in the world. A dreamy picture with one exception: there were no fireworks this year.
It is a detail that has obviously escaped many people this Friday, December 31. As shown in a video by a journalist from Brut, a crowd had gathered near the Arc de Triomphe and was impatiently waiting for this fire that will never take place.
Indeed, this one (as well as the concerts planned on the Champs-Élysées for the New Year's Eve) was cancelled about ten days ago by the city hall of Paris. An information which was obviously badly communicated and which gives us the first big failure of 2022.
