Madrid bar explosion: a second body found among the rubble

The explosion that ripped through a Madrid bar on Saturday has claimed a second fatality from the rubble, the emergency services announced on Monday.
The body of a second person was found on Monday among the rubble of the bar destroyed by an explosion that killed one person and injured 25 others on Saturday in Madrid, the emergency services announced.
“A second fatal victim has been located in the building that suffered an explosion in Puente de Vallecas,” the Spanish capital's emergency services said on X, adding that the search had been relaunched after “a complaint was lodged” for disappearance.
Saturday's explosion also left 25 people injured, two of them seriously. The body of a man was found on Sunday in the rubble of the bar.
A gas leak may have been the cause, but the authorities have not yet confirmed this.
