War in Ukraine: the exchange between Zelensky and Trump was “very important” and “rich”, according to the Ukrainian president's right-hand man

Steph Deschamps / July 5, 2025
The head of Ukraine's presidential administration, Andriy Iermak, announced on Friday that the phone call between Volodymyr Zelensky and his American counterpart Donald Trump had taken place, a “very important” and “rich” discussion, according to him.
“The conversation between the presidents was very important and rich,” Mr. Iermak, Mr. Zelensky's right-hand man, said on Telegram. This latest exchange between the two leaders comes a day after a phone call between Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin failed to produce any progress towards a settlement of the conflict.
