Trump puts pressure on Georgia governor to get votes: clip of recording released.

Donald Trump urged on Saturday, in an unusually long telephone conversation, Georgia's Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to review the results of the presidential elections in his area, reports the Washington Post. An excerpt from this telephone conversation has been released.

The Washington Post newspaper was able to obtain a recording of a telephone exchange between the President of the United States Donald Trump and the Republican Governor of Georgia, a state in which Donald Trump narrowly lost to his Democratic opponent Joe Biden in the presidential election. The exchange raises legal questions according to experts. In unequivocal terms, Trump urged his party member to find him enough votes and recalculate the result.

According to the Washington Post, the current president has in turn tried humor, supplication but also threat, claiming that Raffensperger was taking a big risk if he did not respond to his request. I just want this. I just want to get 11,780 votes, which is one more than what (we need), because we won the state. There is no way I lost Georgia. We won with several hundred thousand votes, he repeated. Election results have already been recounted twice in Georgia. No evidence of fraud has been reported. During the conversation, Raffensperger attempted to tell the president that he was relying on conspiracy theories and false information, and that Joe Biden's election was true. We believe the results are correct.
