US health authorities are considering a link between paracetamol consumption in early pregnancy and the risk of autism in children, writes the Washington Post, citing insiders.
Several recent studies, including those conducted by New York's Mount Sinai Hospital and Harvard University, have shown that there may be a link between the early use of paracetamol and an increased risk of autism in children, the newspaper reveals.
