Trump positive for Covid: Joe Biden wishes Donald and Melania Trump a speedy recovery

Democratic White House candidate Joe Biden wished Friday a "speedy recovery" to Donald and Melania Trump, who tested positive for Covid-19 overnight.

Jill Biden, his wife "and I send our thoughts to President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump for a speedy recovery," the former US Vice President, 77, tweeted.

The Trumps and Bidens were all in Cleveland, Ohio on Tuesday night in the hall for the first presidential debate. Joe Biden should, according to the American media, take a test this Friday again.

“We will continue to pray for the health and safety of the president and his family,” he continued.
