Steph Deschamps / September 9, 2021

The Italian police released a video on Twitter tracing an operation conducted in Rome, Milan, Bergamo, Reggio Emilia, Venice and Padua. It is a large operation of simultaneous searches in the context of an investigation targeting people suspected of being against the anti-Covid vaccine (called No Vax in Italy). These people would have met on a messaging network to prepare a violent demonstration.

They reportedly mentioned the use of weapons or homemade explosives. During the searches, Italian police seized equipment belonging to the suspects. According to local authorities, evidence was found, including in the suspects' computers.
