Donald Trump rules out running again in 2028, if defeated in November

“No, I don't see myself there, I don't see myself there,” the 78-year-old Republican candidate told Full Measure.

“I can't imagine that at all,” added the former president. “I think that will be it.”

However, the billionaire said he hoped for “success” at the ballot box on November 5, against Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.

Since the dramatic withdrawal from the race of President Joe Biden, who was struggling in the polls, the outcome of the presidential election is more indecisive than ever. Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are neck-and-neck in several of the states where everything is likely to come down to the wire.

Notably, Donald Trump, who has never conceded defeat to Joe Biden in 2020, has refused several times in recent months to commit to unconditional recognition of the November election result.
